This necklace arrived packaged well in a plastic bag within a blue see through fabric tie bag. Nice for gift giving if that is intended. I purchased this necklace because of the "frequently bought together" notice on the page with the purple stud earrings. The earrings are a stunning color and I decided to order the accompanying necklace. However, this necklace is NOT the same color purple. It is pale lavender. It is a beautiful color as well but it does not match the earrings. Other than that the pearls are great for a $12.99 price tag. No they are not perfect, they are not knotted, the are exactly 18" including the spring ring and clasp, the clasp does not close well and you have to make it close or the necklace falls off. The clasp and spring ring are sterling. I was pleased that the pearls are uniform in size and shape and it looks much more valuable than $12.99.
