This is a magnificent piece of jewelry! I have a lot of traditional pearls and was looking for something more fashionable, and I am glad I got this piece. The dark pearls and brown thread make for a lovely combination. The pearls themselves have a wonderful luster and I really like their color. They are actually more colorful than in the picture, especially outdoors in sunlight when the different colorful hues show up better. The necklace is well made and you can tell it took considerable time to put together. I love this necklace so much that I am considering getting the white one as well. On a side note, HG's service was excellent and the person I spoke with was most helpful.

I love, love, love this pearl necklace. They are so fashionable and beautiful. The various sizes and shapes add so much more interest than "regular" pearls. And the sheen is "out of this world". The Amazon photo doesn't do them justice. The pearls are beautiful, and my girlfriend loves them. She gets compliments on them all the time and her friends get jealous when they learn that her boyfriend picked them out for her and proceed to elbow their significant others in the ribs. She has been wearing the pearls fairly regularly for the last month and the string has held up wonderfully and the pearls remain as beautiful as when they arrived.
