This traditional pearl necklace is composed of handpicked premium white freshwater pearls. The pearls were selected for their near round shapes, lovely overtones, naturally high luster and hints of rare surface iridescence. Unlike Akoya saltwater pearls, our premium freshwater pearls are 100% solid nacre pearls and do not have a shell bead inside them; in other words, their near round shapes formed naturally in the shell without the assistance of an inserted bead. The pearls are individually hand knotted on fine Japanese thread by our skilled artisan and finished with a premium hand-polished 925 sterling silver double-safety clasp. At a standard size of 7.5-8.0mm, this strand of white pearls is perfect for any occasion from casual to bridal. I was a little worried ordering online. It is going to be worn at a wedding and the item is great. The pearls were perfect and round. They were a good size and not small. No blemishes and the gift box and wrapping saves alot of time, not having to wrap the item. A high quality item and I was happy with the purchase.

I truly couldn't have made a better choice than the white cultured pearl necklace from HinsonGayle.
