I rec'd this item in a timely manner from the vender. The item came in a white small (pleather) pouch for safe keeping. The item is a good length close to the neck. The back of the pearls are somewhat flat, so the neclace lays nicely on the neck without rolling around. However, pearls are tricky because at times they have natural flaws. This neclace had minimal flaws, but it just didn't look as elegant as it looked in the picture- my guess is they have really great lighting for the product photo. It still gets a 4 stars, because its still a very good looking piece of jewelry.
