White Freshwater Cultured Pearl Strand with Sterling Silver Clasp (6mm), 18"

I had been wanting an 18" single strand pearl necklace for awhile - but wasn't willing to pay a huge price for it. I got this on a lightning deal for $16.99 which was really amazing but I'd say it is still a good value at the current price.

It is knotted - the pearls are all pretty consistent in color. They are classified as "potato pearls" because they are not perfectly round but they aren't crazy lopsided either. I think someone would really have to come up and inspect them closely to see they were not perfectly round. I did notice a few that had some flaws but that is also noted in the quality information. I'd say the description is entirely accurate if you go check it out. Again though - nothing anyone is going to notice unless they put their face to your chest and inspect - and that would be a problem entirely of it's own really...

This cultured pearl necklace is very nice for the price. The pearls are "potato" shaped and well matched. The box they come in is EXTREMELY unflattering. Was disappointed with this aspect of the purchase. There is no indication in the box that they are cultured pearls -- a real disappointment for me as this was purchased as a gift.

My necklace arrived a day earlier than I expected. And, it's lovely. The pearls simply glow. I love them. When I handle them, the knots keep each pearl perfectly apart from the others so the necklace hangs just right.
